(Minnesota Statute § 181.81) - Every employer shall post in a conspicuous place a notice written or approved by the commissioner of labor and industry stating that the mandatory retirement age is age 70.

Minimum Wage - Minnesota Department of Labor and Industry -

(Minnesota Statute § 177.31) - Every employer must post a summary of the minimum wage rules in a conspicuous and accessible place in or about the premises in which any person covered by sections 177.21 to 177.35 is employed.
PENALTY FOR NONCOMPLIANCE: The Department of Labor commissioner may fine an employer up to $200 for each failure to comply with this section. An employer shall be guilty of a misdemeanor for failure to post the minimum wage notice.

No Smoking - Minnesota Department of Health -

(MN Stat. 144.416) - Minnesota recently passed a law that prohibits smoking in essentially all enclosed workplaces. Employers are required to post "no smoking" signs.

OSHA - Minnesota Department of Labor and Industry -

(Minnesota Revised Statutes § 182.658) - The commissioner shall issue rules requiring that employers, through posting of notices or other appropriate means, keep their employees informed of their protections and obligations under this chapter including the provisions of applicable standards.
PENALTY FOR NONCOMPLIANCE: Any employer who violates any of the posting requirements, as prescribed under this chapter, shall be assessed a fine of up to $7,000 for each violation.

Workers' Compensation - Minnesota Department of Labor and Industry -

(Minnesota Revised Statutes § 176.139) - All employers required or electing to carry workers' compensation coverage in the state of Minnesota shall post and display in a conspicuous location, a notice, in a form approved by the commissioner, advising employees of their rights and obligations under this chapter, assistance available to them, and the operation of the workers' compensation system, the name and address of the workers' compensation carrier insuring them or the fact that the employer is self-insured. The notice shall be displayed at all locations where the employer is engaged in business.
PENALTY FOR NONCOMPLIANCE: The commissioner may assess a penalty of $500 against the employer payable to the commissioner for deposit in the assigned risk safety account if, after notice from the commissioner, the employer violates the posting requirement of this section.

Unemployment Insurance - Minnesota Department of Employment and Economic Development -

(Minnesota Revised Statutes § 268.068) - Each employer shall post and maintain printed statements of an individual's right to apply for unemployment benefits in places readily accessible to workers in the employer's service.
