(21 V.S.A. § 393) - Every employer subject to the provisions of
this subchapter or of any regulation or order issued under the
provisions thereof shall keep a copy of them posted in a
conspicuous place in the area where employees are employed.

(29 CFR 1903.2) - Each employer shall post and keep posted a notice
or notices informing employees of the protections and obligations
provided for in the Act, and that for assistance and information,
including copies of the Act and of specific safety and health
standards, employees should contact the employer or the nearest
office of the Department of Labor. Such notice or notices shall be
posted by the employer in each establishment in a conspicuous place
or places where notices to employees are customarily posted. Each
employer shall take steps to insure that such notices are not
altered, defaced, or covered by other material.

posting requirements, as prescribed under the provisions of this
Act shall be assessed a civil penalty of up to $7,000 for each
violation.

(21 V.S.A. § 691) - An employer who has complied with the
provisions of this chapter relating to securing the payment of
compensation to his employees and their dependents shall post and
maintain, in a conspicuous place in and about each of his places of
business, typewritten or printed notices in form prescribed by the
commissioner stating that fact.

(21 V.S.A. § 442) - An employer shall post in a conspicuous place
in the place in which a child is employed, a printed notice
describing permitted and prohibited operations, occupations and
machines at which a child may be employed, stating the number of
hours' work permitted on each day of the week, the hours of
commencing and stopping work, and the hours when the time allowed
for meals begins and ends.
PENALTY FOR NONCOMPLIANCE: A person who violates a
provision of this subchapter for which another penalty is not
provided shall be fined not more than $5,000.00 for each offense
and, upon a subsequent conviction, may be fined or imprisoned for
not more than six months, or both.
