Fair Employment - Division on Civil Rights

(NJ ADC 13:8-1.2) - All labor organizations, employment agencies
and employers of employees covered by the Law Against
Discrimination (N.J.S.A. 10:5-1 et seq.) shall display the official
employment poster of the Division in places easily visible to all
employees and applicants for employment. The official employment
poster of the Division is available for downloading and printing on
the Division's website, www.njcivilrights.org, or at any of the
Division's offices. Any poster printed from the Division's website
shall be printed on no smaller than letter size paper (8 1/2 by 11
inches) and contain text that is fully legible and large enough to
be easily read. Whenever the poster is modified, the Division shall
issue and publicize a public notice consistent with N.J.A.C.
13:1E-4.4 to alert covered entities that a revised poster has been
published and is available from the Division.

(NJ Stat. 34:15-80) - Every employer who has complied with the
provisions of this article shall post and maintain in a conspicuous
place or places in and about his place of business, typewritten or
printed notices in such form as the commissioner of banking and
insurance may prescribe stating that he has secured the payment of
compensation to his employees and their dependents in accordance
with the provisions of this article and shall name the company or
companies insuring his liability, or shall state that the employer
has qualified before the commissioner of banking and insurance for
the carrying of his own liability.

Child Labor - Division of Labor Standards &

(NJ Stat. 34:2-21.5) Every employer shall post and keep
conspicuously posted in the establishment wherein any minor under
18 is employed, permitted, or suffered to work a printed abstract
of this act and a list of the occupations prohibited to such
minors, to be furnished by the Department of Labor, and a schedule
of hours of labor which shall contain the name of each minor under
18 the maximum number of hours he shall be required or permitted to
work during each day of the week, the total hours per week, the
time of commencing and stopping work each day, and the time for the
beginning and ending of the daily meal period. An employer may
permit such minor to begin work after the time for beginning, and
stop before the time for ending work stated in the schedule; but he
shall not otherwise employ or permit him to work except as stated
in the schedule. This schedule shall be on a form provided by the
Department of Labor and shall remain the property of that
department. Nothing in this section shall apply to the employment
of minors in agricultural pursuits or in domestic service in
private homes, or as news paperboys as provided in this act.

No Smoking - Smoke-Free Air Act Initiative

(NJ Stat. 26:3D-61) - The person having control of an indoor
public place or workplace shall place in every public entrance to
the indoor public place or workplace a sign, which shall be located
so as to be clearly visible to the public and shall contain letters
or a symbol which contrast in color with the sign, indicating that
smoking is prohibited therein, except in such designated areas as
provided pursuant to this act. The sign shall also indicate that
violators are subject to a fine. The person having control of the
indoor public place or workplace shall post a sign stating "Smoking
Permitted" in letters at least one inch in height or marked by the
international symbol for "Smoking Permitted" in those areas where
smoking is permitted.
